My design goal is to develop a simple design solution that connects the individual with the world around them and celebrates unique elements of the existing site and context.  

In the design process, I do not bring a prescribed style or solution to a project, but craft a design solution specific to each client, site, budget and program.  Essential to my design process is to work in a collaborative process with the client, builder and other team members to develop creative solutions to pragmatic functional requirements.  My design solutions create contemporary works that draw inspiration from details of older structures and incorporate special elements of the landscape.  In this design process, my goal is to create unique details or moments that connect the user to the building and its surroundings. I believe design should be inspiring and sustainable.
