City Park Accessory Dwelling Unit
Our design provided an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) structure located behind a modest midcentury ranch home in the neighborhood around Denver City Park. Our goal was to create a smaller livable accessory dwelling that enhanced the yard space and landscape. We created a garage workshop on the ground level with a 2 bedroom dwelling above. The design creates a lofted fun dwelling upstairs while carefully crafting the material and scale to work with the existing site and home. We also carefully crafted window locations to capture natural light while protecting privacy between buildings and neighbors.
