Hilltop Residence
The Design provided a remodel and reimagining of the existing outdated midcentury house in the Hilltop Neighborhood of Denver. Our goal was to restore and enhance the mid century modern aspects of the original structure and make improvements. The original living spaces were broken up into small spaces with low ceilings and as a solution we designed an open flow for the living room, dining room and kitchen spaces. We also vaulted the ceilings and added a large door opening to enhance the indoor outdoor connection, which transformed the main spaces. We designed the exterior to work with the original brick material, which we cleaned, removed some outdated roof canopies and then designed new wood siding to modernize the home on the outside. We remodeled and reworked the bedroom spaces to improve those spaces, provide generous closets and reconfigured bathrooms for a much more luxurious home while carefully working within a budget.
